I made a few Halloween treats today (all pictured above): White Chocolate Butterscotch Blondies from Cookies & Cups; Oatmeal Cookie Bars (with chocolate chips) from One Ordinary Day and Candy Bar Brownies!
Candy Bar Brownies
1. Prepare your favorite basic brownie recipe (for an 8×8 pan).
2. Bake for about half the time, as directed.
3. In the meantime, slice a few of your favorite candy bars into 1/2-inch pieces (I used Twix, Milky Way & Skor), enough to make about 1 cup of goodies. You could also use a mixture of nuts and/or marshmallows.
4. Pull your brownies from the oven, sprinkle them with your choice of goodies and pop them back into the oven until baked through!
My little munchkins are ready for candy and fun! Enjoy and stay safe!
