I love roads. They take me places. ~ Me (to my husband after he laughed at more road photos)
Last week autumn color teased us, and with success. I am eagerly awaiting more color this week, and maybe a new country road.
While driving West on 412, I noticed a sign: “Murphy 4″. The Murphy girl in me couldn’t resist and Murphy Hill did not disappoint. Voluminous clouds had gathered over the verdant landscape and complemented the green and autumn tones beautifully.

Amazing shots! Really beautiful❤
Thank you so much!
Lovely! The sky always seems bigger in autumn!
Yes, it does! And I love how the blue contrasts with the autumn colors.
What beautiful fall scenery, Amy. I love roads, too. <3
Thank you, Stacy!
wonderful photos ~ and a great quote, i feel the same way
Thank you!
Sis, these made me tear up and want to DRIVE like hell out of this city. I think your quote needs to go on my wall, too. It’s the truest of truths. And it makes me think of Mama. <3
So glad you enjoyed them and I do always think about Mama on these little drives, and taking all the back roads.
They are the best ones, no doubt!
beautiful photos. reminds me of the beauty here in Indiana
Thank you! Beauty is really all around this great country. Hope I have plenty of time left to see much more.

Such beautiful photographs, thanks for sharing them.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed them.
I love how you captured the transition. I tried to shoot a few shades and posted them on my blog. It feels like leaves are changing colors in the blink of an eye. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for stopping by to view my photos and for your comment! I’ll check out your photos. The leaves do change quickly. I hope I can capture more around here before they’re all gone!
I love the photos!
I’m so glad you enjoyed them!
Looks like you’ve been busy!! Find any good places to eat??!
Very busy and out of town every weekend this month. Ready to settle in and keep going all at the same time.
No photos, but we tried a Mexican restaurant in Grove, OK (by Grand Lake) this weekend that was awesome, La Casita de Martin. Definitely try it if you’re ever around. I should have a couple more restaurant posts to satisfy your visual taste buds pretty soon.
