During our fall foliage venture yesterday, after making a stop at Ropp’s Farm & Bakery, we almost lost one of our buddies. Fortunately, I heard his spur graze the rear window and rescued him just before we hit the highway.
One of our treats for the road: chocolate whoopie pies. So yummy!
I did manage to capture a few early fall foliage shots along a new country road with a special meaning & great views. Will post soon!
HAPPY THURSDAY!!

Those whoopie pies look homemade !
Well, they are from an Amish Bakery so I guess they sort of are. They were absolutely delicious!
Wow – that could have been a disaster! (Losing Woody, that is.) <3
Definitely! Woody goes pretty much everywhere with us. I’m pretty sure he’s in a few other photos too.
i have made whoopie pies for years, the grandkids love them!!!!
Wow! I bet they love you!!
they always know Grandma has the junk food waiting for them. hehe
My grandma always did too.
Mmmmm whoopie pies!
Also, yay for saving Woody!
When I read that in my email, without pictures, I was frantic to know which “buddy” had been at risk. Glad for the photographic clarification! And whoopie pies…yummm.
Ha!ha! If it had been a human one, it would have been my youngest son. He’s so quick and loves to ‘hide’ as a joke. Sometimes it’s not very funny to momma!
yum!!!
It’s taken me awhile but again I just wanted to thank you for nominating me for the Beautiful Blogger award.

I love the new layout.
Thank you for the feedback! I felt like it was time for a change and it seems to be easy to view and read.
