Thanks! I was toying with my camera a little. I think they turned out pretty nice.
I too love the b&w. Dramatic images. Assuming this Oklahoma. I’ve been through your state many times but never been able to stop and look around. I can remember getting out of the car during the high summer and hearing cicadas chirping in the trees. It was soooo loud.
Thank you! Yes, these were taken in Oklahoma, not far from my home. Next time you’re around, send me a message. If you have time to look around, I’ll give you a few pointers. And the cicadas are almost deafening at times right now! I love the sound though. It says, “summer’s here” and feels homey to me for some reason. Like a canvas for the hollowness and dryness the heat brings with it.
Really nice photos.
Thank you, Karen! They were fun to capture. We were in a boat with my son taking him fishing for the first time.
That had to be a lovely day.
It was very nice. He had a marvelous time.
love the title and pics
Thank you so much!
Love the last one… the orange is just gorgeous
I think so too! I didn’t touch it up at all. Oklahoma is known for its beautiful sunsets. Makes the hot, hot summer a little more bearable.
Such a view! Thank you for sharing. <3
Thank you, Stacy! I’ve been eyeing those structures out for awhile and finally had the opportunity to capture them.
