Creamy Jalapeno Dip/ Afternoon Popcorn Snack

Creamy Jalapeno Dip

Another good ‘ole family favorite! Best enjoyed with a bag of corn chips, this creamy & spicy jalapeno dip will keep ‘em coming for more. We took it to a family gathering awhile back and it is now Cajun Approved by my husband’s Southern Louisiana relatives who prefer more than a little heat with their grub. This time around, I used 1/3 reduced fat cream cheese and light sour cream. Reducing the fat did reduce the creaminess some, but it still tastes great! ENJOY

PS: I don’t have a clue where this recipe originated so if it’s your grandmother’s, please thank her for us! :-)

Jalapeno Dip
16 oz. softened cream cheese
16 oz. sour cream
12 oz. jar of pickled jalapenos

Place sour cream and cream cheese in a bowl and beat with a hand mixer until blended and creamy.  Dump in jalapenos – juice and all. Stir in jalapenos until evenly dispensed. Cover and chill.
